Just like environmental portrait photography, the background and location of an industrial portrait says something about the subject, but the location is the subject’s work environment.
For your assignment you are to photograph an industrial portrait of a person in their work environment. Keep in mind that the environment they are placed in should add to the photograph. The background and setting should only enhance the viewers understanding, appreciation, or curiosity of the subject(s).
